January 30, 2005 Due to the number of betas / release candidates Austin has been releasing, the number of bugs / problems with them, and the time involved in providing them, we will no longer be providing beta / release candidates via XPU. We do not recommend using Betas / Release Candidates anyway, and we feel providing only FINAL x-system releases, as well as a way to rollback to a previous final version is a much more valuable solution for the majority of x-plane users. We apologize for this change, but we just can't keep up with all the betas / release candidates, and, in our opinion, they should not even be released to the general public anyway ... but that's another story. If you need betas / release candidates, you'll have to download the full or mini updates from x-plane.com ...they will no longer be available via XPU. |
